We are seeking a dynamic and established Business Development Manager who possess the drive to expand market presence and fostering enduring relationships within the non-bank and private lending space, particularly with brokers. Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the on-boarding of new brokers and referrers as well as maintaining sound relationships with our current introducers. Whilst working towards achieving loan organisation targets you will still participate in the loan assessment and due diligence process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Referrer new business accounts and secure and recruit new brokers.
- Engage in the on-boarding process and support new members with training and loan applications.
- Attendance and engaging in industry events, conferences and training sessions.
- Assessment of loan transactions and preparation of credit submissions originated through the broker and referrer network.
- Collaborating and reporting directly to company directors.
Your Experience:
- A proven track record of 3+ years as a Business Development Manager in the banking, non-bank, and private debt industries.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- A comprehensive grasp of non-bank and private lending, specifically bridging, investment, property development and construction funding.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-lasting, positive relationships with brokers and referrers.
- The capacity to build and uphold credibility with high-net-worth clients, particularly within the broker ecosystem.
- Proficiency in systems such as Microsoft outlook, Microsoft excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft word.
