YOUR ROLE

  • Management of the following Steering Units: Automotive Components. This includes budgeting, customer relationships, planning, monitoring competitor activity, deciding business direction. Ensuring business growth and long-term competitive advantage and that business plans and KPIs are met
  • Building strong customer relationships, identifying and developing new customers
  • Drive sales and influence others to drive sales for the AMC Business Unit and ensure budgets are being met.
  • Setting the strategy in alignment with the AM General Manager and the A management team. Execute the strategy accordingly.
  • Evaluate and recommend the resources needed to cover the SU’s customers in order to optimally run the SU. Align with General Managers to ensure adequate resourcing is allocated to meet SU’s key business targets
  • Maintain and develop internal relationships in TCS, production, purchasing, marketing, channel management, supply chain and finance
  • Provide information on market trends, competitor activity and Business Development opportunities for their Business Unit
  • Ensure all environmental regulatory requirements are supported and ensure compliance with all Henkel standards
  • Maintaining and growing an active sales territory within the Adhesives division in Victoria

YOUR SKILLS

  • With five+ (5+) years of experience in a related field; Excellent product and industry knowledge in industrial markets
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales and/or Technical disciplines
  • Experience managing a Business Unit; Ability to influence a diverse sales team without having direct authority over them
  • Proven sales experience selling through B2B Industrial Sales
  • Able to set sales forecasts, sales plans and expense budgets; able to analyse and report on financial data
  • Excellent project management, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships; Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle customer and distributor queries and complaints
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, ACE)
