About the Role
We are looking for a National Business Development and Tenders Manager to join our team. This role will lead GSK’s strategy and operations in developing commercial opportunities in tenders, hospitals, and state formularies. Further, this role will have three reports and report into our Director of CGA and Market Access. It will be based either at our new state-of-the-art offices in Abbotsford (hybrid) or can be remote anywhere in Australia for exceptional candidates.
Your role will be varied and will include:
- Tender Management: Oversee national tender processes, collaborating for accurate and competitive bids.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities in the state health and hospital sector, expanding our market presence
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to formulate effective business strategies
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate to set a holistic pricing strategy for our product portfolio
- Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to execute growth-oriented strategies
To be successful in the role, you’re a strategic thinker, a relationship builder and have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical (or related) industry.
You’ll also:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in the pharmacy, health science or related discipline
- Proven experience in a similar strategic commercial role
- Leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with senior leaders
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and market dynamics
