Job description:
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the Business Development Manager will lead and manage a portfolio of Honda Representatives which may include one Major Metro Representative through a consultative, value-added approach to deliver on Honda's objectives in all aspects of Sales and Aftersales. Particular focus on delivering expected levels of Customer Experience to ensure high net promoter scores and maximising Customer Retention. This role works with a team of Business Development Managers supporting our Honda Network within the Southern Region.

- Manage customer issues/concerns by taking ownership of issues to ensure a satisfactory conclusion is achieved.
- Review KPIs and identify areas of opportunity and process improvement by working with stakeholders to establish action plans and take ownership of issues to deliver outcomes.
- Can be counted on to be a team player, working to consistently achieve goals.
- Work collaboratively with leadership teams to lead and manage with a value add approach to deliver on Honda's objectives.
- Maximise opportunities to meet and exceed Net Promoter Score objectives.
- Meet and exceed retention objectives including the development of service and repurchase strategies.
- Identify opportunities and work on activities to help maximise Honda partners business and profitability.
- Ensure that Honda representative compliance standards are met - identifying breaches and addressing them using a consultative approach.
What you'll bring to Honda
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role with a focus on process improvement/project management skills.
- Automotive experience is not essential and experience from other industries is transferable.
- Track record in relationship management through a value add approach.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct gap analysis, problem solving and implement process improvements.
- Developed analytical skills and an ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills.
- Established interpersonal skills, ideally with the ability to persuasively communicate and build trusting relationships with stakeholders (verbal and written).
- Experience in driving great customer experience throughout the whole customer lifecycle (highly regarded)
- Experience working collaboratively with a team of customer service professionals.
- Understanding of business financials.
