SalaryOur client is an industry leading supplier in Event Production equipment and is on the hunt for a Head of Sales for their Melbourne Production Account Team. This role will provide strategic leadership to a team of client-facing account managers and sales professionals in order to meet and surpass sales targets.
The role:
- Develop and implement sales strategies with a specialized focus on Major Events and lighting/staging equipment, exceeding targets
- Leverage your technical expertise to understand client requirements and offer informed solutions, attending all large jobs to ensure quality of delivery
- Drive new business, establish client relationships and oversee all accounts
- Maintain strong internal relationships to all stakeholders in the business, including transport and operations
- Mentor, train, and manage staff in their achievement of Sales targets
- Budgetary analysis and reconciliation month on month
- Experience in the AV tech industry, with a specialised focus on skills including: lighting, AV, staging and Major Events
- Proven experience in team leadership and management within Event Production or related technical domains
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical aspects relevant to AV, lighting, and staging equipment
- Ability to manage key client accounts, devise and execute successful sales strategies
- $180-$200K + super for the right candidate
