Holy Trinity kindergarten is regarded as the hidden gem of Hampton. We are a close-knit community kindergarten with a strong environment focus. We recently received the 2024Environmental Award for an organisation from the Bayside City council and we have received a quality rating exceeding National Quality Standards (NQS) in all areas.
Children in our kinder program learn in a relaxed and safe environment which fosters young minds with a combination of structured and spontaneous learning opportunities.
We are currently looking for a Kindergarten Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in the running of the kinder and the successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills.
The role will be 15 hours a week, split over three days (one day must be a Wednesday) and we can offer flexibility on the other two days and work around school hours. The role is ideal for someone with previous administration experience, a passion for organisation and a warm and friendly demeanour. Previous experience in Early Childhood Education is not a requirement but previous experience with external organisations such as the Department of Education and Training (DET), ELAA, ACEQA and Bayside Council would be viewed favourably.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Oversee the day to day running of HTK
Manage enrolments & kinder tours
Coordinate staff and the committee of management
Assist with meetings and agendas
Ensure compliance of the kinder
Onboard new committee members
General administration
Candidates must have a Working with Children check and be available to work from the Kindergarten for the 3 days a week.
