Busy at Work, the Apprenticeship Community is a national collective of Australian Apprenticeship Support Services providers, with over 40 years of experience in connecting employers and apprentices. We offer advice and tailored support for apprentices, trainees, and businesses to support successful careers and skilled, productive workplaces.
About the role…
You will drive growth and maximize opportunities in the apprenticeship and traineeship programs sector, responsible for building extensive B2B relationships and partnerships with local employers.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Maximize opportunities and drive growth in apprenticeship and traineeship programs with prospective employers
- Ownership of new client intake and working with various external stakeholders until client is fully transitioned into the business
- Leverage your knowledge of the local labour market and established network to nurture new prospects
- Engage with employers to showcase the benefits of apprenticeship and traineeship programs for their business objectives
- Identify and build relationships with key decision makers, from small business owners to senior executives
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets

- Proven ability to work to and exceed targets in a dynamic, ever changing environment
- Ambitious and driven with a strong results focus, able to convert opportunities into outcome
- Strong presentation skills, able to adapt style to suit various audiences
- Highly motivated and strong networker with advanced rapport building skills
- The ability to conduct insightful market analysis that realises further opportunities
Value-Added Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales, driving results through the sales cycle from lead generation to account management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a client base and meet KPIs
- Able to identify and build relationships with decision makers
- Knowledge of local labour market
- Ability to understand the industry changes and identify business implications
- Experience in working with in Employment Services or Recruitment environment, achieving sales based targets and KPIs
