Business Development Manager - Pumps

The Company:
My client is a leading manufacturer of specialised underground and open pit mine de-watering, Pumps. They offer a total solution from system design to supply, maintenance and repairs, onsite training and service. They now seek the assistance of a mechanically minded Sales professional to join their thriving Melbourne sales team.
The Role:

• Responsible for maintaining existing customer base across the West Australian Goldfields and Pilbara region.
• Support and promote their range of Underground pumps within the designated territory.
• Identify needs and provide technical solutions to clients around their install base, to solve problems in production and efficiency.

The Candidate:

• 4+ years’ experience selling any type of pump or pumping system into the mining sector across Australia.
• A natural ability to sell and present to high level decision makers
• Drive and determination
• An ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Preferred qualification in Mechanical, Engineering or Trade Qualified (Fitter/Mechanic)
