Business Development Manager (VIC) – Education
Acer Computer Australia has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager who will focus on developing and growing Acer’s commercial business in Victoria, in particular the Education Segment.
The successful candidate will be a highly-motivated individual who can add value and make a significant contribution to the company's aggressive growth objectives.
What you would be doing
- Position Acer as the IT brand and vendor of choice in the Victoria Education segment.
- Find and win new business with previous Channel development experience
- Build strategic relationships with targeted accounts and maximise business penetration in existing accounts.
- Conduct market analysis of the Education segment and develop the appropriate sales strategy.
- Set and monitor sales performance indicators to ensure effective execution of business plan, in line with the organization's business objectives.
- Achieve agreed Education sales targets.
- Manage all Sales-related activities in the allocated market segment.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would be self-motivated, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a sales professional, preferably in the IT industry
- Proven track record in sales strategy implementation and delivery of results
- An in -depth understanding of the commercial market, in particular Education.
- Knowledge of the IT industry and product trends will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
