Due to the continued success and growth of the business, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Development Manger to join the team. This is a full-time permanent position based in our stunning and newly refurbished offices in Cremorne.
About the role
Reporting to our Acquisitions Director, this newly created role will see you involved in every aspect of the entire development life cycle. This includes project support in potential acquisitions and involvement across all stages of the land subdivision process.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leading project feasibility studies for potential land acquisitions;
- Acting as a key conduit throughout the land subdivision process which includes planning, sales, construction and settlements;
- Developing strong stakeholder relationships which includes dealing with Council and Servicing Authorities;
- Managing cash flow, budget control and associated financial administration;
- Leading and chairing required project related meetings;
- Managing all aspects of project delivery including project related requests as required; and
- Contributing to the development of Wolfdene’s culture, and acting as an ambassador for the brand.
About you
- Minimum 6 + years’ experience working in a similar role;
- Prior experience using Estate Master is essential;
- A tertiary qualification in property, valuation or equivalent;
- Strong technical understanding of the land development process;
- First-class stakeholder and project management skills;
- Sound commercial and financial acumen to deliver upon Wolfdene’s strategic objectives; and
- Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills will also be critical to success.
