Recruitment Officer needed to start asap for a fast-paced role in Brisbane CBD.
Your new company
HAYS are excited to represent the leading provider of turnkey construction, maintenance, and industrial services. With offices located all across Australia, they specialise in the delivery of mechanical services, surface protection civil services, and much more. With a team of over 1,7000 personnel nationally, they are seeking a recruiter with blue collar experience to join their Brisbane team, initially on a 3 month temporary basis but with the view that the successful candidate could go perm.
Your new role
Reporting into the Recruitment Lead, you will be part of a team of recruiters based across Australia and will support with the recruitment for shut downs across the East Coast of Australia. This will include:
Manage the end to end recruitment of high volume roles (such as mechanical fitters, riggers, crane operators etc.)
Manage and administer the full employee lifecycle, from talent identification to new hire onboarding
Source candidate using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate’s pipeline
Updating internal HR databases
Screening and collating documents from candidates such as tickets, licences and qualifications to ensure a seamless process and compliance
Drafting and placing job advertisements
Conduct comprehensive phone screens and interviews
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume recruitment role in a blue-collar or compliance heavy sector. You will have proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills, able to work within a fast-paced environment and effective oral and written communications skills and the ability to liaise professionally with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will need to be able to start on short notice, ideally be immediately available, but otherwise a week to two weeks notice maximum as they require someone asap.
