This role will have a focus on growing our PROMASEAL firestopping range and PROMATECT board systems with specifiers, contractors and distributors.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the name Promat becomes synonymous with the words “fire protection” and becomes the ‘natural’ choice for specifiers and contractors when fire protection is required
- Follow up project leads through successful builders and sub-contractors to ensure our products and services are the preferred choice
- Seek out Business Development opportunities and applications for Promat in new market segments across Victoria
- Promote company image by representation at appropriate industry functions
- Track and manage all client activity and projects in our CRM
- Genuine "people person" with a commitment to providing first-class customer service and developing relationships
- 2+ years' experience as a BDM in the building / construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Strong influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills
