We’re currently searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team and who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results to benefit the business.
The ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. Your focus will be the latest technologies for metal recovery, particularly in electronic waste and battery materials where massive growth is forecast! In addition, you will be working with our sales team to maximise opportunities in more traditional verticals of copper, tin, silver & nickel.
This is a hybrid role working in the office, from home and some overseas travel.
Objectives of this role
- Develop, execute, and oversee a business sales strategy that prioritizes growth
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
- Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
- Train sales professionals in order to improve their skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct industry research to understand customer needs and competitor analysis in order to develop effective sales solutions
- Market mapping of opportunities, prepare sales collateral including presentations and blogs etc
- Comfortable presenting to the management board
- Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Provide continuous, constructive feedback to sales team members
- Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services
Skills and qualifications
- Proven record of sales growth
- Extensive experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
- Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
